Why I Built Keevala: The Founder Story
Kevan Baptiste built Keevala because broken links, expensive tools, and invisible click fraud were quietly destroying marketing ROI. Here is why Keevala exists — and where it is going.
The problem I kept hitting
Before Keevala, I watched the same three problems ruin otherwise good marketing over and over. Links broke — printed QR codes, old posts, and campaign links died silently, and the people who clicked them hit 404s. Tools got expensive — the industry standard kept raising prices while its free tier shrank. And fraud went unnoticed — bot clicks inflated numbers, and nobody could tell real interest from fake traffic.
These are not exotic problems. Every marketer has felt all three. What surprised me was that nobody was fixing them together — the market was full of tools that did one thing and charged for the rest.
The decision to build
So I decided to build the platform I wanted to use: a link shortener that treated links as assets — durable, measurable, and secure. Keevala is privately owned and operated, which means the roadmap answers to users, not to quarterly growth targets. Every feature on this blog — Undying Links, Link Cinema, Smart Links, the Growth Suite — came from watching real campaigns fail in preventable ways.
The three things Keevala stands for
- Links should not die — Undying Links revives dead destinations from archives and caches automatically.
- Security is not a luxury tier — Armadillo’s AI scanning protects every link, on every plan.
- A free plan should be genuinely useful — 100 links, QR codes, and click tracking, forever, no credit card required.
Building in public
Keevala’s roadmap is public, the community gets a say, and the product ships in visible steps. I would rather show you the real status page, the real threat counter, and the real roadmap than a deck of promises. If you have used the platform and hit a wall, that is a bug report I want — it is exactly how the Growth Suite got started.
Where it is going
The direction is set: deeper AI insights, stronger enterprise security, and more ways for links to pay for themselves. If you are reading this because a link brought you here — that is the whole point. Keevala exists so every link you share works, measures, and protects. That is the standard I am building to.

Frequently asked questions
Who is the founder of Keevala?
Kevan Baptiste. Keevala is privately owned and operated by its founder — no investors, no board, just the product and its users.
Why does Keevala offer a free plan at all?
Because trust is earned, not sold. A genuinely useful free tier — 100 links, QR codes, click tracking — proves the product before anyone pays.
How can I share feedback or ideas?
Use the contact page on Keevala, or join the community. Founder-driven products move fast when users speak up.
Is Keevala a big company?
No — and that is a feature. Independently built means the roadmap is shaped by users, not by quarterly targets.
